I'm fed up
With seeing
A whole bunch of guys,
All dressed up,
Who are more or less grey,
And who take
The Parliament House
For a boxing ring,
"For our own good."
Check that out.
And who take
The Country
For another opportunity
Of becoming more powerful.
So, I, a "mere citizen",
Am asking you gentlemen
To get into your overalls,
Leaving your tie on or not
And start doing something.
Let us be pioneers
Of a world
That has been set on course
By others for us.
Only by "working hard"
Can you interfere with
Our "internal affairs",
For there's no "Western"
Sister-nation,
To share its wealth
With us, my brothers!
